<i>Masdevallia leonor-baeziana</i> (Orchidaceae: Pleurothallidinae): new species from the Andean-Amazonian foothills of Caquetá, Colombia

We describe and illustrate a new species of Masdevallia from the Andean-Amazonian foothills Caquetá, Colombia. leonor-baeziana belongs to subsect. Saltatrices, within M. constricta group. It is most similar constricta, but it can be distinguished by shorter sepals sepaline tails that do not surpass tube length, shorter, sigmoid-ovate lip. proposed categorizing as Critically Endangered (CR) based on B D IUCN red list criteria.
